AS91585

Apply probability concepts in solving problems

AS91585 is the probability concepts exam in Level 3 Statistics. It covers true, theoretical and experimental probability, randomness, independence, mutually exclusive events and conditional probability, using two-way tables, probability trees and Venn diagrams. Questions are set in real-life contexts and often ask you to interpret your answer, so the written conclusion matters as much as the calculation.

Assessed by external examination at the end of the year.
