L3 Probability Distributions
AS91586
Apply probability distributions in solving problems
AS91586 is the probability distributions exam in Level 3 Statistics. It covers discrete and continuous distributions (the binomial, Poisson, normal, uniform and triangular), the mean and standard deviation of a random variable, and how true probabilities compare with model and experimental estimates. You are expected to say which distribution you used and to state your assumptions.
